You will recall William (Dollar Bill) Jefferson, (D-LA). He is the congressman who was found with $90,000 in marked money in the freezer of his Washington DC home. Jefferson’s lawyers want the bribery charges against Jefferson dismissed. They are saying that he wasn’t involved in bribery, his actions were more like influence peddling instead. What?
