Speaking today at National Defense University, President Bush discusses the war on terror, and the spread of freedom and democracy around the world.  I like the Telegraph's perspective, it seems absent of agenda. Bullish Bush hails 'shift to democracy'. President George W Bush has hailed a democratic "thaw" in the Middle East, saying that authoritarian rule was the "last gasp of a discredited past".
