I like the attitude of the new Iraqi government towards trying Saddam Hussein. Speed it up. They feel they have 12 counts with solid evidence that will be ample for Saddam to get a death sentence. The administration's approach 'would have delayed Hussein's trial until at least 2006, and brought him to court on multiple counts of genocide and crimes against humanity, in a trial similar to that of Slobodan Milosevic, the former Yugoslav leader who has been on trial since 2002 at the International War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague.' And after three years Milosevic's trial is still going on. It'd be way too kind to let Hussein live that much longer.
