Sen. Arlen Specter & John McCain Arlen, the constitution doesn't care what you like, and neither should you. It's not your choice to make. It was such a mistake to put him as chariman of the Judiciary Committee. His contrary positions and timing makes him look like he's competing with John McCain to be the democrats' favorite republican. It is becoming fashionable to make the President's job as difficult as you can, especially if you're a republican. Specter Says He'd Like Swing-Voter Justice (AP).
