The fact that this prosecutor, Ronnie Earle, has for a couple years now, had a film crew following his pursuit of Tom DeLay, and that conservative sources like National Review or FOX is the only place that mentions it is just astounding to me.    Does anyone believe that, had Earle been the R and DeLay been the D, that the media would not have Earle plastered on front pages for months, if necessary, to try to destroy his reputation?  Those eeeeeevil republicans you know.

The New York Times didn't think it important enough to mention, at all.  The biased media at work.

Like most other people, republican or democrat, I don't know anything about the President's pick for Sandra Day O'Connor's seat on the Supreme Court, who is Harriet Miers. My knee-jerk reaction to his pick was "WHAT?" My surprise was created by my expectation that his pick would be someone I had at least heard of, someone who is known to have the judicial discipline of an originalist. I hope this appointment won't do to the Supreme Court what jump'n Jim Jeffords once did to the republican majority, which is my biggest concern.
