World Looks To United Nations To Deal With Iran Moving right along on Iran's nuclear program, world leaders, including Europe and all members of the UN Security Council want Iran to end the uranium enrichment program which has nothing at all to do with providing domestic electricity from nuclear reactors.  All are in agreement that Iran needs to stop and that the Security Council should take up the matter.  I have no expectation that the UN will do anything right away.  Left up to them, they wouldn't react until after the mushroom cloud appears, if then. Another step to the inevitable.  Unfortunately, no one in the US knows about it if they depend on the TV for their news.  The broadcast TV networks didn't carry any of the hearings, they're not going to cover this, and cable TV news is Alito 24/7.   A lot of people are going to be surprised when it happens, and, receptive to spin.  New York Times: Europe Joins U.S. in Urging Action by U.N. on Iran (disclaimer) this link is to the New York Times and its authenticity may be questioned.
