Al Franken Can't Even Get Good Hate Mail This is good.  This is what Al Franken rates as a 'hate mail of the day.'  They used to be really vicious, calling him dirty names and suggested placements for his head, etc...  Now he apparently considers the left's belief system as hateful because this letter speaks to all the things Al loves.  It's not particularly hateful, it just the truth.  What is debatable is these three things. 'your crappy show' isn't hateful, it's an evaluation. 'idiots' isn't particularly hateful, because that is probably the faintest derogatory I've ever heard come out of the mouth of a flaming liberal, like Al Franken.  The word idiot is too common to qualify for the hate mail of the day award. 'you suck'.  Since I don't know what Bob Driscoll was thinking, I have no comment about it.  Lose the thong Al, you'll feel better. Mr. Mayor Wants A Chocolate City New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin says he wants 'a chocolate' New Orleans.  The Mayor Nagin needs some of that good old sensitivity training.  And on Martin Luther King Holiday no less.  Apparently he doesn't know who Dr. King was and what he believed. "It's time for us to come together. It's time for us to rebuild New Orleans — the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans," the mayor said. "This city will be a majority African American city. It's the way God wants it to be. You can't have New Orleans no other way. It wouldn't be New Orleans." He was doing fine until he made rebuilding the city a racial issue.  Maybe some have reacted to the mayor in a 'fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me' kind of way, and they are not coming back.
