The WMDs existed, we just haven't found them yet.  Now we learn more about where they went, thanks to a #2 man in Saddam's air force,  says Iraqi general, Georges Sada.  Because he has written a book about it, and also because it totally debunks the theme the Democrats run on, it is likely to be totally ignored by the biased media.   However, honorable men that they are, I'm sure they will go to the well in the Senate tomorrow to apologize to the President.  Do you think?

Hamas wins the parliamentary elections in Ramallah, West Bank. Although a different outcome would have been better, it's hard to believe that Hamas would have been better if the Fatah party had won. The good news is that unless Hamas has an epiphany and renounces their goal, which is the elimination of Israel, then Israel's enemy and the enemy of the world, this new terrorist state, will be clearly defined.

No longer will we have politicos talking peace on one hand, while Hamas continues killing Israelis, like has happened for the last 30 plus years. (And Jimmy Carter got a Nobel Peace prize for it.) Now it is the Palestinian State itself, no little sub-group of bad guys. And under these circumstances, Israel's response won't have to be with one hand tied behind their back.  They would be justified in declaring war in response.  And they would win it.  Only then will that part of the earth see peace.

Here Here.  Way to go BB&T.  They won't finance private construction projects where private property was taken for other private use, including 'public purpose' too!

BB&T's Heroic Stand.

Ever since the Supreme Court's egregious and mind-boggling Kelo decision, eminent domain has been a big news story. One bank, BB&T, is making a stand.

Regional bank BB&T Corp., one of the nation's largest financial institutions, will make no loans to developers who plan to build commercial projects on land taken from private citizens by the government through the power of eminent domain, the company said Wednesday.

"The idea that a citizen's property can be taken by the government solely for private use is extremely misguided, in fact it's just plain wrong," John Allison, the bank's chairman and chief executive, said in a statement.

In an interview, BB&T chief credit officer Ken Chalk said the bank expects to lose only a tiny amount of business, but believes it was obligated to take a stance on the issue.
