The hysteria that a TV 'docudrama' can generate from 'our greatest President,' you know, Bill Clinton, is amazing. His legacy is so impeccable, so solid, that he shouldn't worry that a 5-hour TV show would cast any doubt. Right?
A furious Bill Clinton is warning ABC that its mini-series "The Path to 9/11" grossly misrepresents his pursuit of Osama bin Laden - and he is demanding the network "pull the drama" if changes aren't made.
It's not about Clinton, it's about the enemy we face.
However, if Bill Clinton wants to tell his version, maybe he should make his own TV miniseries. It'd be something like the old TV show 'Dallas,' only in Washington, and cheating with not-so-glamorous women. Soundtrack by Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels doing their song 'Devil With A Blue Dress On.' :)

What does desperation look like? Just take a look at what Al Franken puts out on his Air America blog. I take it to be a joke, because the quote from Bush's speech (below) was Bush explaining how the Islamofascists at Gitmo are dedicated to the end of America and Americans. Bush read the words from a terrorist that was directed to the terrorist's interrogator. Does this look like it's meant to be a joke?
"Bush Threatens Adam Clymer.
Shocking! Bush said this in his press conference yesterday to Adam Clymer, the NY Times reporter who President Bush referred to as a 'major league asshole' in 2000:
I'll never forget your face. I will kill you, your brothers, your mother, and sisters. AUDIO. Clymer doesn't even have any brothers! Shocking! "
Right, Shocking. Now here is the relevant part of the transcript where they claim Bush is talking about him. Clymer may be in a cell at Gitmo for all I know, but Bush wasn't talking about him. In fact. Nobody is talking about him.
From the transcript:
Those held at Guantanamo include suspected bomb makers, terrorist trainers, recruiters and facilitators, and potential suicide bombers. They are in our custody so they cannot murder our people. One detainee held at Guantanamo told a questioner questioning him -- he said this: "I'll never forget your face. I will kill you, your brothers, your mother, and sisters."
And for Al and Eric who apparently can't read either, the video.
I always knew that Al Franken, Eric Hanonoki, and Adam Clymer had a lot in common. [The Al Franken Show | Air America Radio -]

The Democrat(ic) Party is all up in arms about 'A Despicable, Irresponsible Fraud'. But they weren't referring to the fraud committed by Joe Wilson and his willing accomplices in the media that lasted more than three years, where they accused the Bush administration of conspiring to discredit Joe Wilson for, as has been revealed, making up his whole story out of thin air. That's not the fraud they were concerned with. That fraud was successful for them. They're upset with an upcoming made for TV film called 'The Path To 9/11'.
Does a major national broadcast network want to stain itself by presenting an irresponsible, slanderous, fraudulent, "docu-drama" to the American public?
Not if you and I have the last word -- but either way, we're about to find out.
ABC/Disney executives need to hear from the public and understand that their abuse of the public trust comes with a cost. Tell Walt Disney CEO Robert Iger to keep this right-wing propaganda off the air -- we'll deliver your message:
In blatant contrast to how 'the opposition party' spun the 9/11 Commission's report, this 'docudrama' illustrates facts and events described in the report that were omitted in most of the MSM's reading of the 9/11 Commission's report. It seems their view on movies and documentaries has changed since Michael Moore's 'documentary' Fahrenheit 911.
Bill Clinton and all his accomplices who spent their eight years ducking from danger find it uncomfortable to their psyche now that another accounting of the events leading up to the 9/11 attack has been made. What is the standard Democrat response? Take it off the air. Don't show it. Forget free speech, that's only meant for liberals.
It never surprises me the lengths these liberals go to make fools of themselves.
Democrats urge ABC to withdraw 9/11 movie (Reuters).
