Iran says let's get it on by refusing any possible UN sanctioned review, by the Security Council or anyone else.  I kind of like this fast track through diplomacy that Iran seems to be taking.  Time has come for the left to ponder the 'bottom line' with Iran.   It comes down to a choice between a bad choice and a worse choice, says Victor Davis Hanson.  Will the left in this country be on our side, or Iran's side?

Moving right along on Iran's nuclear program, world leaders, including Europe and all members of the UN Security Council want Iran to end the uranium enrichment program which has nothing at all to do with providing domestic electricity from nuclear reactors.  All are in agreement that Iran needs to stop and that the Security Council should take up the matter.  I have no expectation that the UN will do anything right away.  Left up to them, they wouldn't react until after the mushroom cloud appears, if then.

Another step to the inevitable.  Unfortunately, no one in the US knows about it if they depend on the TV for their news.  The broadcast TV networks didn't carry any of the hearings, they're not going to cover this, and cable TV news is Alito 24/7.   A lot of people are going to be surprised when it happens, and, receptive to spin.
