So two of Sen. Charles Schumer's staff do a little plumbing of their own, Watergate style.  Oh, it's just to destroy a A picture named charles_schumer.jpgpolitical opponent, a republican African American Lt. Governor of Maryland Michael Steele.  To them, the end justifies the means.  What was that about a culture of corruption?  Where is CBS, ABS, and NBS on this?  The impetus of the media and the dems is to keep up the volume and focus on Bush and DeLay.  For Schumer's plumbers I guess the feeling is 'if it isn't in the paper then it didn't happen.'

In the mind of these democrats, the phrase 'color blind' has nothing to do with race, it's only about politics.  Where is Jesse Sharpton on this?

Michael Steele is lieutenant governor of Maryland, and the DSCC, and along with most everyone else, expects Steele to run for the open seat of retiring Sen. Paul Sarbanes.

Steele, an African American, is a rising star in a Republican party regularly accused of racial insensitivity if not outright racism, a party that thought so highly of him and his political future that it chose him to be the deputy permanent chairman of the 2004 Republican Convention.
