Not to worry. Judge Donald V. Ferlise would be about right for working the window at a cheesesteak shop on 9th Street. That is, if his judge gig is over. Want to fix something really broken? How about the 9th Circuit Court Of Appeals, the most overturned court in the country?
I like a judge with a sense of humor. Regarding his 'Me Tarzan, You Jane' comment, I'm surprised that people with no sense of humor, and supposedly all adults, would be causing him all that grief over nothing. Nothing anyone should be troubled by. Does a felony record disqualify you from being an immigration judge? Maybe you would prefer Martha Stewart?
'Bullying' immigration judge absent, replaced. A Philadelphia immigration judge, recently rebuked by a federal appeals panel for "bullying" and "bias-laden" courtroom conduct it said warranted further review, has been replaced in his chambers following an unexplained two-week absence.

I don't understand why Californians retain these justices after all that they do. The most overturned Circuit Court in the nation needs a collective lobotomy, or a 1-way ticket to France, or Baghdad.
GOD - NO; ALLAH - YES. Compare and contrast... In Dallas, a school district strikes the words "In God We Trust" from the photo of an enlarged nickel on a yearbook cover for fear of offending students of differing religions. In California, the 9th Circuit Court... [Michelle Malkin]

Since they gave no explanation, let's guess why the ABA recently downgraded their 'rating' of Brett Kavanaugh. The ABA rears it's partisan head. Kavanaugh was interviewed on behalf of the ABA by a divorce lawyer named Marna S. Tucker, according to the Washington Times.
Who is Marna S. Tucker?
Ms. Tucker has donated more than $10,000 to Democratic candidates and causes, according to Federal Election Commission records at www.politicalmoneyline.com, a Web site that tracks campaign contributions. She has never given to Republicans, according to the site.
The Washington Post described her as a "prominent liberal" in 1991 and the following year noted her friendship with Hillary Rodham Clinton, now a Democratic senator from New York.
Ms. Tucker also is a founding member and board director of the National Women's Law Center, an organization committed to abortion rights and other liberal causes.
According to Power Line, 'It's easy to see why the ABA chose her to represent the organization's views before the Judiciary Committee. The Washington Post reports on Kavanaugh's "contentious" hearing today here.'

Lately, well for the last say 10 years, Sen. Arlen Specter never fails to disappoint me. He's been sounding an awful lot like Ted Kennedy lately. And, as Mark Levin says, why is he going unchallenged by his own party?
Specter, Out There and Unchallenged. Is Arlen Specter really as clueless as he appears to be? As reported by UPI, "[a]ppearing on NBC's "Meet the Press," Specter called the administration's legal reasoning "strained and unrealistic" and said the program appears to be "in flat violation"... [And Another Thing . . .]

The left is not happy with Senator Barack Obama, based on a rumor that Senator Barack Obama has been opposing a filibuster of Alito inside the Democratic Caucus. They're not crazy about Hillary either, even though she succumbed to their demands to join their bandwagon to filibuster the Alito vote in the Senate which, BTW was started by the Kennedy twins of Massachusetts. That would be Sen. Ted Kennedy and Sen. John Kerry, the Kennedy Twins.
BuzzFlash's source for this rumor also correctly informed us that after days of BuzzFlash calling upon Senator John Kerry to live up to his 2003 commitment to lead a filibuster against a candidate with the anti-Constitutional background of Sam Alito that Kerry was now trying to get the caucus to back a filibuster. Indeed, late on Thursday, Kerry's office publicly announced what our source had told us: Kerry would indeed try to filibuster Alito and try to persuade his Democratic colleagues to back him by voting to keep the filibuster alive. He will need 40 other votes.
and
Obama is just as much personna non grata in my political world as is Hillary.
The only democrat so far to say the obvious, if you want to put judges you like on the court, you have to first win elections. The left just can't believe it. It's all a trick, they didn't lose 2 elections, they were both stolen from them. That is their mindset and it's been there since 2000.

"I oppose his nomination and support efforts to block his confirmation. I do not think Judge Alito would advance the principles Americans hold most dear." This is Sen. Clinton over Judge Alito's nomination. Are Democrats the ones who did poorly in civics class in high school? Constitutionally, since when is it a judge's job to advance principles? Hillary, judges interpret laws and advance nothing. Principles have nothing to do with it. Maybe it was the phone calls from the rabid left?

The Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, MoveOn.org, George Soros, Michael Moore, and Barbra Streisand wing of the Democrat Party (correction: since they are running the party politics for democrats now, calling it a 'wing' is somewhat a misnomer) will be busy this weekend beating the filibuster drums over the Alito nomination. The desperation in their message is emblematic of how deeply the Democrat party relies on the Judicial branch of government to make laws, totally ignoring the law making body, the Legislative branch.
TODAY, WE MUST SAVE AMERICA
We have just two days to save American Democracy - TODAY and MONDAY.
Through a stunning set of events, John Kerry and Ted Kennedy will lead a filibuster of Sam Alito on Monday.
Senate offices will be closed this weekend, so TODAY WE MUST CALL EVERY DEMOCRATIC SENATOR TO DEMAND SUPPORT FOR THE FILIBUSTER. And we must call them all again MONDAY.
http://democrats.com/alito-48
If we lose the cloture vote on Monday at 4:30 p.m., the Senate will vote at 11 a.m. on Tuesday to put Sam Alito on the Supreme Court with Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, and John Roberts - where they will vote in lockstep to ensure that the extremist agenda of the radical right is never blocked by any Court.
And what is that agenda? It is no longer a mystery: allowing a President to start illegal wars, murder civilians and journalists, destroy cities, torture prisoners, lock away citizens at home, and wiretap every email and call in the world. Having the Supreme Court choose Presidents, not the voters. Letting corporations crush their workers and poison the planet. And, of course, outlawing all abortions, even at the cost of women's lives.
The hyperbole is their platform of fear. Not one of safety and security. Best advice I have is keep it up, make darn sure the country knows what kind of kooks you really are.
