Yes, It's About The U.S. Dead

'Hot news' story today, planned for weeks now, is the one below by AP.  The proscribed 'milestone' of the death toll in Iraq has finally reached 1,000.

Great political fodder for Kerry, who hasn't hesitated to use it.  But what Kerry and the biased media have forgotten, and don't want you to remember, is the 3,000 dead about 3 years ago.  Then, I don't even know how many of our best made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan.  No, forget them, it detracts from our agenda, which is to make Iraq to appear to be Bush's war, unrelated to the war on terror, and nevermind about those 3,000 dead Americans.

On the subject, Bush says "We mourn every loss of life," he said. "We will honor their memories by completing the mission."     Hear Hear
