Dems Having It Both Ways, Again

Some senators are more interested in the secret prisons then they are about the leak itself.  This is a sharp contrast to Jay Rockefeller's so-called secret memo that described the Democrat strategy on stalling the administration, which we have been witness to the last couple years.  Back then, these same Democrats, especially Ted Kennedy, didn't give a hoot about the contents of the memos, which Zell Miller called a second cousin to treason.  No, it was all about who was responsible for the leak, and they demanded a head roll because of it.

Not this time, they just want to know about the prisons.  They'd probably want the leaker to head the Kerry campaign instead of doing time in jail.

The Senate voted 82-9 for an amendment offered by Democratic Senator John Kerry, seen here, requiring Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Negroponte to make a classified report to the House and Senate intelligence committees(AFP/File/Manny Ceneta)AFP - The US Senate demanded that the country's intelligence chief brief lawmakers on reportedly CIA-run secret prisons for terror suspects.
