The One-Issue Party And Political Cleansing

The way that the Democrats are treating their former Vice Presidential candidate, Sen. Joe Lieberman, is rather astouThree term Sen. Joe Lieberman after loss to anti-war anti-Bush challenger Ned Lamont.nding yet, thankfully, revealing of what motivates the Democrat party nowadays.  They have been seduced, bought and paid for by the far left end of their party.  Joe Lieberman is the only Democrat left who stands on his principle and for what is right (in his opinion) for all, like Bush.  Joe is the only one of them who doesn't change his opinion based on where the campaign contributions come from.  The fact that Joe doesn't kowtow to this far-left anti-everything-Bush crowd makes him evil, just like Bush.

They have become a one-issue party, and that issue is to get Bush, which to them is the same as being anti-war, anti-security, anti-military, anti-everything Bush does.  And if you think the war in Iraq was and is still the correct path for the country, then you will not only be tossed out but you will also be vilified for not towing their line.

A US Senate election has become a barometer of voter disgust with the war in Iraq, as incumbent Lieberman, a strong supporter of US policy there, fights for his political life against a little-known challenger.(AFP/Getty Images) Despite their claim of being an open tent political party, and tolerant and all that, its not enough for them to let Joe have his opinions and run on them.  No, they have to pursue a road to destroy him politically.  But this is all they know to do, beginning and ending with Bush.  The far left of the Democrat party today is out to 'cleans' itself of those who don't believe as they do.  Lets see now, where have I heard of that sort of thing going on?  I'll think of it.  It's on the tip of my tongue.
